Seiko LM 5606-7000 Lord Matic SGP Silver Sunburst Dial

The Seiko Lord Matic 5606-7000 is a distinguished timepiece, featuring a gem-cutting style case reminiscent of the modern Grand Seiko SBGX253. The 5606 movement, first introduced around 1968, served as the foundation for early 1970s King Seiko and Grand Seiko models. This movement offers both automatic and manual winding, operates at a beat rate of 21,600 bph, and includes a day-date quickset function. As a JDM model, it features a bilingual day display in both Kanji and English.

This 1970 Lord Matic 5606-7000 features an SGP case that complements its silver sunburst dial, gold-tone indices, dauphin hands, and gold-tone Seiko LM logo. The watch remains in good condition with a recently serviced movement and a properly functioning quickset mechanism. The SGP case and bracelet show light signs of wear, including hairline scratches and slight discoloration, but retain their sharp edges and overall shape. The dial is clean, while the crystal has light signs of wear. The original bracelet fits a wrist size of approximately 17.5cm.

This vintage Seiko Lord Matic is a fine example of 1970s Seiko craftsmanship, offering a balance of elegance, reliability, and historical significance.
