Seiko Liner J14069 Gold Filled Silver Sunburst Radial Line Dial

The Seiko Liner lineup was launched in the 1960s by the Suwa factory as a luxury dress watch to fit just below the Grand Seiko range, providing much of the style and luxury without the high precision of the chronometer-rated Grand Seiko model.

The Liner range comprised many model numbers, including the J14069, a classic round thin bezel dress watch featuring a classic silver sunburst dial with an engraved radial line pattern that makes the watch appear more appealing and striking. The classic italic printed Seiko Liner name, the Diashock 23 Jewels, and the applied gold-tone stick indices and hands perfectly represent the watch as a high-end dress watch of its time.

Measuring 34mm x 42mm from lug to lug, it wears larger due to its slim bezel and lugs. The watch is in great condition of all original head, recently serviced, The gold-filled case shows only minimal signs of wear, with the engraving on the back still clearly visible. The dial is in good condition, and its clean domed crystal is also in great shape, having been well cared for for over 60 years.

The J14069 Seiko Liner here is one of the collectible vintage Seiko models that, in such condition, is hard to find in today’s market.
