This Seiko Actus 5, dating back to around 1975, is a JDM (Japan Domestic Market) Seiko that showcases a striking green sunburst dial with unique baton-shaped indices and a tosca minute marker ring. As if the vibrant dial weren’t enough, Seiko added extra flair with a faceted crystal, making this watch both stylish and eye-catching.
Powered by the reliable 7019 movement, a workhorse of its time, the watch operates at 21,600 bph. The quickset date can be adjusted by pulling the crown out one click, while the quickset day is changed by pressing the crown.
The eye-catching dial is encased in a polished, cushion-shaped case measuring 37mm by 40.5mm lug to lug, making it perfect for any wrist size.
In great condition, the watch has been recently serviced, and the dial and case remain clean. The faceted crystal, though polished, still retains its sharp diamond-cut shape, and the original bracelet is suitable for wrist sizes up to approximately 18.5cm.
