Sportmatic 5 is a vintage Seiko watch with 6619 automatic movement 21 Jewels first produced in 1964, it is the first Seiko to have a quickset date by pushing the crown. The 6619 self-winding mechanism is straightforward but efficient. Shows of a simple but perfectly constructed movement, allowed the 6619 watches to run reliably for decades without any need of a service.

The Seiko Sportmatic 6619-9010 stands out with its minimalist all-silver design, featuring a silver sunburst dial, indices, hands, and case, drawing inspiration from the Taro Tanaka design. Notably, it showcases a two-tone day-date window with the date in black color, baton indexes, and a crosshair pattern on the dial.

Despite its 57 years of existence, the watch remains in good working condition, exhibiting reliable accuracy and a commendable power reserve of up to 24 hours when fully wound. A testament to Seiko's durability, this timepiece retains its functionality along with a well-preserved case, complete with the original crystal and original bracelet that suitable for a wrist size of approximately 18.5cm.
