In the early 1970s, Seiko introduced three lines of their Seiko Quartz lineup: the QT, QR, and QZ. The 0923-8060 showcased here belongs to the QZ series from 1979.
Utilizing the 0923 quartz movement, this timepiece boasts an accuracy of +/- 15 seconds per month and features a quickset for both the date and day, available in kanji or English. What sets it apart is its unique bilingual date setup, offering two color options for the English day: blue and black for weekdays, and red and black for Sundays, with the colored day presented in bold font.
The 0923-8060 has a robust build with a stainless steel case measuring 36 x 43mm, along with its original bracelet fitting wrist sizes of approximately 19cm. It has an attractive radiant green dial with a horizontal linen texture.
