Seiko Quartz 5S21-6010 Sweep Second Champagne Dial

This elegant Seiko 5S21-6010, produced in 1992, is powered by the unique 5S21 quartz movement, introduced around 1988–1989. Unlike typical quartz watches, it features a smooth sweeping seconds hand mimicking the motion of a mechanical watch. Many consider the 5S21 an early step toward Seiko’s later Spring Drive technology.

As the Japan Domestic Market model, this watch features a classic round gold-tone case with a stepped bezel, a champagne sunburst dial, leaf-shaped hands, slim stick indices, and a Roman numeral at 12 o’clock. It has a refined vintage size of 33mm including crown and 37mm lug to lug.

The watch is in good working condition, with only light signs of wear on the case but no plating loss. The dial remains clean and the crystal is clear.
