The Seiko Lord Matic has a great history as the successor to the seikomatic line, and to continue the legacy of the first high beat 36.000 bph Lord Marvel.
The movement of 5606 first produced around 1968, formed the basis for the early 70’s King Seiko and Grand Seiko models.
The 5606 is movement beats at 21.600 bph with day date quickset, it is a JDM watch that features a day in kanji and English language.
The Lord Matic 5606-7070 here is a Japan Domestic Market watch with the vintage look of silver cream sunburst dial, simple indices, and long hands. Although there is some sign of wear, it is still a good-looking simple vintage watch and worth for collection. Movement, accuracy, and PR are in normal working condition.
