The Seiko Lord Matic has a great history as the successor to the Seikomatic line, and to continue the legacy of the first high beat 36.000 Bph Lord Matic.
The movement of 5606 was first produced around 1968, formed the basis for the early 70's King Seiko and Grand Seiko models.
The 5606 is an automatic + manual winding movement beats at 21.600 Bph with day date quick set, it is a JDM watch that features day in Kanji and English language.
The Lord Matic 5606-5040 here is a 1971 vintage and rare find tank model, measures at 32.5 x 39mm lug to lug with raised arcylic crystal and a clean grey linen dial. Watch is in great all original conditions with the original LM stainless steel strap.
