Seiko LM 5606-7070 Lord Matic Warm Silver Dial

The Seiko Lord Matic has a rich history, continuing the legacy of the Seikomatic line and the high-beat 36,000 BPH Lord Marvel. The 5606 movement, first produced around 1968, formed the foundation for early 1970s King Seiko and Grand Seiko models.

The 5606 movement beats at 21,600 BPH and features a day-date quickset mechanism. As a Japan Domestic Market (JDM) watch, it displays the day in both Kanji and English.

The Lord Matic 5606-7070 presented here is a JDM model from 1972. It showcases the classic simplicity of vintage Seiko designs, featuring a round case, minimalist indices day date window, and long pencil hands. The standout feature of this particular Lord Matic is its silver dial with a creamy accent, which gives the dial a warm, elegant tone.

Despite some signs of wear on the case and bracelet with the hairline scratches but maintaining its sharp edges, the watch remains in overall good condition, with a clean dial and its original bracelet, fitting wrist sizes up to approximately 17.5 cm.
