However, the material's extreme hardness makes it notoriously challenging to machine and engineer, explaining why tungsten carbide watches are no longer produced today. This rarity enhances the desirability and collectibility of the Seiko Dolce tungsten carbide series.

The 1984 Seiko Dolce presented here is a standout example from this exclusive lineup. It features a remarkable tank-shaped case with a distinctive curvy front side, setting it apart from conventional tank designs.
