The Seiko Chronos series, a successor to the Silverwave line, was introduced in the early 1980s and produced until 1989 exclusively for the Japanese market. Positioned as a mid-range quartz collection, the Chronos combines both classic and sporty design elements, featuring the signature screw-down crown for added durability.

The Seiko Chronos 8123-632A model presents a solid black dial with sleek stick indices and sword-style hands, complemented by a hidden-lug case and an integrated bracelet design. Its overall style draws similarities to the Tissot PRX quartz model, with added crown protection case shape.

With dimensions of 38mm including the crown and 40mm lug-to-lug, this piece remains in excellent, original condition, showing no obvious signs of wear. The original bracelet accommodates wrist sizes up to approximately 19.5cm.
