The Seiko Silverwave family is widely known as the first group of Seiko watches suitable for diving, or light diving. This Seiko 5 Actus 6306-8010 is one of the lineups made with the Silverwave configuration of a screw-down crown and screw-back case featuring the Silverwave logo.
This 1976 Seiko has the 6306 movement, made for the Japanese domestic market, and features a Kanji date wheel and hacking movement.
The 6306-8010 boasts an attractive blue dial with a shuriken or wavy-like pattern, stick indices, and dauphine hands, completed by the minutes ring.
Measuring at 38mm, the watch wears perfectly on any wrist size. With its excellent condition of the case, crystal, no signs of aging on the dial, and the original bracelet that fits wrist sizes up to approximately 18.5cm.
The Seiko 5 Actus Silverwave, in this great condition, is quite hard to find on the vintage market and surely appears as a must-have item for vintage Seiko watch collectors.
