As part of Seiko's luxury quartz lineup from the 80s and 90s, the watch boasts an exceptional design. Its case is constructed from tungsten carbide, boasting a remarkable hardness of 2600Hv, surpassing sapphire and trailing only behind diamond. Despite the complex engineering and machining demands, Seiko succeeded in creating a uniquely shaped case with many side edges and a distinctive prism-cut pattern on the sides.

Enhancing the allure of the case is the stunning white dial, featuring a "momigami" kneaded paper texture. Paired with gold stick indices and sleek hands, the dial and the watch shape overall is a captivating visual that never fails to captivate attention.

Although the dial has a light stain on the right side and signs of wear on the side of the 12-hour mark, it is only noticeable at certain angles. The 9531-5150 here remains in great condition and also comes with the original box and tags.
