Seiko 5 Actus SS 6106-8690 JDM Faceted Crystal Golden Brown Sunburst Dial

The Seiko 5 Actus features Seiko's favorite automatic movement, the 6106C, introduced in 1969-1977 as a revision of the 1967 6106A movement. The 6106C variant introduced Diafix installations and a quickset mechanism, allowing the day and date to be changed by pushing in the crown. It's the only caliber to support a bilingual day wheel.

Some 5 Actus models feature an "SS" logo, indicating Second Setting, a feature where the second hand stops ticking when the crown is pulled out.

This Seiko 5 Actus SS model showcases a stunning golden brown sunburst dial with gold-colored indices, hands, and Seiko logo, rarely found in the market. Its distinctive appeal is further enhanced by the faceted cut crystal, setting it apart from standard Seiko 5 Actus models.

Although the faceted glass is polished, the cut shape remains visible and in clean condition. The dial has minor light blemishes, noticeable only under certain lighting conditions. Everything about this watch, including the bracelet fitting wrist sizes of +/- 18.5cm, is in original condition, and it continues to run with good accuracy and power reserve.
