Seiko 5 Actus SS 6106-8690 JDM Dark Blue Sunburst Dial

The Seiko 5 Actus, powered by Seiko’s renowned automatic movement, the 6106C, was introduced in 1969 as an improved version of the 1967 6106A movement. The 6106C features 25 jewels with Diafix installations and a quickset mechanism, allowing the day and date to be adjusted by pushing in the crown.

Some Seiko 5 Actus models bear the “SS” logo, which stands for "Second Setting"—a feature that enables the second hand to stop ticking when the crown is pulled out, allowing for precise time-setting.

This Seiko 5 Actus SS from 1974 features a striking dark blue sunburst dial with baton indices and hands. It remains in all-original condition, with a polished case and crystal. The movement has been serviced and runs with good accuracy, power reserve, and full functionality. The original bracelet fits a wrist size of approximately 19cm.
