Couple Seiko Dolce 9531-5070 & Exceline 7321-5980 Tank Ceramic Black Dial
The Seiko Dolce line debuted in Seiko's 1982 catalog, initially following the Superiors before taking the spotlight on the first page in 1983, solidifying its position as the high-end flagship line for Seiko's Quartz collection.
Interestingly, Seiko Dolce also includes a lineup of women's watches branded as Seiko Exceline. Both Dolce and Exceline share similar design elements, differing mainly in size and movement.
An excellent example of this shared design is seen in the Seiko Dolce 9531-5070 and Seiko Exceline 7321-5980. Both feature a classic tank design with a black case adorned with gold accents on the sides. The black dial is complemented by a gold frame, hands, and indices. Notably, the case is crafted from ceramic material with a hardness value (Hv) exceeding 1500.
The Dolce measures 27 x 35mm to the crown, while the Exceline measures 22 x 29mm to the crown. Despite being over 30 years old, both watches exhibit no obvious signs of wear. The use of ceramic material for the case has contributed significantly to their remarkable condition.
This pair of Seiko black ceramic tank watches is a rare find in the market, ideal for couples who share a passion for vintage watch collections.
